Patagonia ambassadors Tommy Caldwell, Hayden Kennedy, Jeremy Collins, and photographer Corey Rich head out to explore the unclimbed granite domes of Keketouhai, China’s “Little Yosemite.” What they find are big walls, a sage nomadic culture and interesting stomach bugs.

This is the story of a guy who decided that he had to do something to make sure his daughter was going to have a future beyond living on a raft with the last polar bear. All he had to do was stop global warming, overpopulation, peak oil, social and economic injustice, and Humanity’s war on Nature, and get home in time for dinner. The film puts together the whole package of solutions, psychology of change, the bigger picture of environment, energy and economics, and of course humor.

Jon Cooksey – Writer, Director, Performer
Jon Cooksey is a writer/producer/director living and working in Vancouver. Jon has worked in all genres of film and television, including comedy, drama and family. As a writer, he has won Humanitas, Gemini and Cable Ace awards, and has now won multiple awards, as director and producer, for “How to Boil a Frog,” in which he acts as writer, director, producer and court jester. He’s also an activist, and founder of the Vancouver Peak Oil Executive. Jon is currently writing and consulting on 2 movies for Rob Stewart (“Sharkwater”), and writing a pilot script (“Commonwealth”) for eOne Entertainment and Shaw Media. Jon’s series “The Collector” won a Leo Award for Best Series, and was nominated for Best Series at the Monte Carlo International Film & TV Festival, based on its success overseas.
